Media Architecture Summit 2015<\/h4>\r\n\r\nFollowing the success of the Media Facades Summit 2010, 2012, and 2014 in Frankfurt, and the Media Facades Summit 2013 in Hong Kong, the Media Architecture Institute will host another summit in April 2015. With this summit we will be implementing a new format: The event will focus on issues beyond media facades (which were early protagonists of media architectures). We have compiled a couple of lists with the speakers of the Media Facades Summit<\/a> and those of the Media Architecture Biennale<\/a>. We will continue extending the lists with some of the outstanding thinkers and practitioners in the field.\r\n\r\n

Media Architecture Biennale 2014<\/h4>\r\n\r\n

The biennale brings together people and organizations that work with media and the built environment: With media facades, with urban screens and with buildings that communicate \u2013 be it with colourful LEDs, flashing light bulbs, or with heat-sensitive concrete that \u2019freezes\u2019 the shadows of passers-by. Across professions and nationalities, participants will create and discuss the media architecture of the future. Media Facades Summit Frankfurt 2014<\/h4>\r\n\r\n

The Media Facades Summit 2014 brought together a mix of industry speakers with academics and experts to present projects and discuss approaches for designing and building media facades. The exhibition included a number of working prototypes exhibited at Godsbanen, Aarhus. The international two-day conference featuring academic paper talks and invited keynotes.
