Designed by famed architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava, the performing arts center makes use of cutting-edge technologies that complement its contemporary design.<\/p>\n\n<!--more-->\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"248\" height=\"199\" id=\"image123\" alt=\"Palacio1_LG.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mediaarchitecture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2007\/02\/Palacio1_LG.jpg\" \/>\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"254\" height=\"199\" alt=\"Palacio4_LG.jpg\" id=\"image126\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mediaarchitecture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2007\/02\/Palacio4_LG.jpg\" \/>\n\n<p>The building\u2019s lighting design was conceptualized by CA2L Il\u2022luminaci\u00f3, a Barcelona-based lighting design firm, who specified Color Kinetics\u2019 ColorBlast 12 systems to adorn the building with color and movement.
