As an interdisciplinary network, Connecting Cities unites political, economic and artistic interests.\n\nThe initiator of the project is Public Art Lab<\/a> (Berlin) in cooperation with Ars Electronica Futurelab<\/a> Linz, BIS<\/a> (Body Process Arts Association) Istanbul, FACT<\/a> Liverpool, iMAL<\/a> Brussels, m-cult<\/a> Helsinki, Medialab Prado<\/a> Madrid, Media Architecture Institute<\/a> Vienna, Museum of Contemporary Art<\/a> Zagreb, Riga 2014<\/a> and Videospread<\/a> Marseille.\n\nOther partners include the Aarhus University<\/a>, Marseille-Provence 2013<\/a>, MUTEK Montr\u00e9al<\/a> and Quartier des spectacles Montr\u00e9al<\/a>.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\n\n \n\nWe approach our vision of Connecting Cities<\/strong> 2012 \u2013 2016<\/strong> through three scenarios:\n\nNetworked City 2013<\/strong>: The European cities can be connected through Urban Media Facades, which provide space for intercultural encounters and exchange.\n
